The Multicargo Terminal (T-MULT) of Complex of Port of Açu , located in São João da Barra (Rio de Janeiro), received this week the BBC Amethyst vessel, which brought the first gas turbine of the UTE GNA I, the main equipment that will make up the thermoelectric plant that is under construction by Gas Natural Açu (GNA).

On 2nd May, 2019 Damen Shipyards Group signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Askeri Fabrika ve Tersane İşletme AŞ (ASFAT) for collaboration in the production of marine platforms. ExxonMobil says it has funded the Liza Phase 2 development offshore Guyana after it received government and regulatory approvals. Liza Phase 2 will produce up to 220,000 barrels of oil per day and further capitalize on the significant development potential of the Stabroek Block, where ExxonMobil estimates producing more than 750,000 barrels of oil per day by 2025.
