The Supervisory Board of Fugro has decided to reduce Fugro’s Board of Management, which currently consists of three persons, to the CEO and CFO positions only.

The results of the project's fourth call bring the total amount provided by MaRINET2 for free testing access to €4.8 million. Subsea 7 S.A. has been awarded a sizeable(1) contract by Offshore Oil Engineering Co. (COOEC), for CNOOC’s Lingshui 17-2 Gas Field Development Project - Steel Catenary Risers Installation Services. The field is located in the South China Sea approximately 150km offshore Sanya, Hainan province.

Maersk Drilling has entered into an agreement with a subsidiary of Shelf Drilling, Ltd. to sell the jack-up rig Maersk Completer for USD 38m in an all-cash transaction. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, and the rig is expected to be delivered in January 2020.

Maersk Drilling has secured a three-well contract for the semi-submersible rig Maersk Discoverer with BP for development drilling at the Matapal project offshore Trinidad and Tobago. The contract has an estimated duration of 322 days and is expected to commence in July 2020. The value of the firm contract is approximately USD 78m, including a mobilization fee. The contract contains an additional one-well option.

DNV GL, the technical advisor to the global oil and gas industry, has been awarded a framework agreement by DNO ASA to provide a broad portfolio of engineering and management support and verification services to support the operator, as it expands operations and developments in the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). DNV GL will support DNO in enhancing safety, maintaining compliance and reducing its environmental footprint as it seeks to achieve its ambitions in the region.

Damen’s new Ultra Shallow Shoalbuster 3815 SD has successfully completed sea trials and bollard pull testing. The newly designed vessel achieved 18.6 tonnes of bollard pull, while still being able to operate in extreme shallow waters.
