Agência Nacional de Petróleo, Gás e Biocombustíveis (ANPG), TotalEnergies EP Angola and Sonangol Pesquisa e Produção S.A. have signed a head of agreement related to the future development of the Cameia and Golfinho fields, located on Blocks 20 and 21 in the Kwanza basin.

ExxonMobil made a final investment decision for the Uaru development offshore Guyana after receiving required government and regulatory approvals. The company expects Uaru, the fifth project on Guyana’s offshore Stabroek block, to add approximately 250,000 barrels of daily capacity after a targeted startup in 2026.

Addressing Wintershall Dea’s Kan-1 discovery, Adrian Lara, Principal Research Analyst Latin America Upstream Oil and Gas, said “With Wintershall Dea’s first operated exploration well drilled in Mexico, the announced expected resource of 200 to 300 million barrels of equivalent of oil and gas in place outperforms the original prospective resource estimated at 196 mmboe.
