Bordelon Marine LLC has renewed the charter agreement with Oceaneering International, Inc. (“Oceaneering”) for the MV Brandon Bordelon; 260’ DP2 Jones Act Compliant Ultra-Light Intervention Vessel for an additional two-year firm term plus one-year additional option. The charter agreement renewal commenced in March 2024.

Damen Shipyards Group and leading shipping group CMA CGM are beginning a cooperation that will ultimately result in around 10 of the latter’s vessels receiving significant modifications. Consulmar has achieved a remarkable milestone by successfully executing the world's first zero-emissions mooring service for a tanker. This groundbreaking operation took place at an offshore multiple-buoy mooring site near the BP refinery, situated two miles from the Port of Castellón in Spain. Utilizing its electric line handling tug, CASTALIA, Consulmar towed the steel mooring lines from the vessel to each of the five mooring buoys, marking a significant advancement in the maritime industry towards more sustainable practices.

The multinational inspection, certification, ship classification and engineering consultancy, RINA, has awarded Kindon New Energy Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. the Approval in Principle (AiP) for its innovative green methanol offshore production platform solution. Produced entirely offshore, the methanol is derived from renewable CO2 through DAC (Direct Air Capture) technology and green hydrogen from offshore wind power water electrolysis technology.
