Exail, a global leader in surface navigation, has secured a contract with Bourbon, a leading French maritime services provider, to supply several units of Exail Octans Attitude and Heading Reference Systems (AHRS) for integration into Bourbon Subsea Services subsidiary's fleet. These units will be installed on multiple Bourbon Evolution 800 Series multi-purpose support vessels (MPSVs) dedicated to subsea operations at depths down to 3,000 meters.

NOAA electronic navigational charts (NOAA ENC®) are vector data sets that support all types of marine navigation. Originally designed for large commercial vessels, ENCs are used in computer navigation programs and mobile applications on many types of ships, including recreational vessels. Vallourec has secured a fourth major order in the framework of the Long-Term Agreement (LTA) signed in 2021 with ExxonMobil Guyana. Under the contract, Vallourec will deliver line pipe for ExxonMobil Guyana’s deep-water Whiptail project. The Whiptail project is located in the Stabroek Block, a 26,800 km2 strategic basin located off Guyana’s continental shelf, where several important discoveries have been made since 2015.

The Marine Renewable Energy Collaborative (MRECo) has been awarded an 8-year pilot license by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to test marine renewable energy-generating tidal turbines at the Bourne Tidal Test Site in Bourne, Massachusetts. The Bourne Tidal Test Site (BTTS) is the only tidal test site in the US to have obtained such a license. This license allows turbines to generate renewable electricity directly to the grid.
