Huisman has reached an important milestone in the development of a new Jacking System, tailored for the growing offshore renewables energy market. The company successfully completed a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for the first Huisman Jacking Gearbox, which will be part of the Jacking System.

Huisman has announced its intention to launch a Sustainable Impact Assessment to determine the carbon footprint of its products, from design up to and including delivery. The data will be used to provide insight into how the company can further reduce the CO2footprint of its products.

Sembcorp Marine Ltd, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sembmarine SLP Limited (“Sembmarine SLP”), has been awarded the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contract by Ørsted A/S (“Ørsted”) for the Hornsea 2 Offshore Wind Farm, one of the world’s largest wind farms located 89 km off the Yorkshire coast in the UK North Sea.

James Fisher Renewables (JF Renewables), a trusted technical and operations solutions provider to the offshore renewables industry, and a part of James Fisher and Sons, announces they are working with Ho Lung Power Engineering (HLPE) to provide planning, reporting, engineering support / technical review and skilled labor for cable termination and testing (T&T) of Ørsted's Greater Changhua wind farm in the Taiwan Strait.
