SevenCs to Release New 7Cs Analyzer Version 4.2

SevenCs will be releasing a new version of their chart validation tool, the 7Cs Analyzer, at the end of March 2020. 7Cs Analyzer Version 4.2. comes with great new features to make chart validation more flexible and customizable.

Most chart production tools have a built-in shape file reader. Therefore, included is a new module in Version 4.2. It gives users the opportunity to save the validation log file in ESRI © shape file format. The shape files contain the features that require attention as well as the associated validation messages. This makes it much easier to locate any issues detected by 7Cs Analyzer in the third-party chart-production software.

Custom Check Wizard

Many chart producers have introduced specific validation checks in addition to those specified in S-58. The Custom Check Wizard makes it very easy to define such proprietary checks in 7Cs Analyzer. With a few clicks, the user can specify the relevant check conditions, the feature relationships, the relevant attributes, and any other check parameters.

Based in Hamburg, SevenCs develops S-57 chart kernels for integration into ECDIS and other maritime applications, ENC production and distribution software, and professional maritime-navigation software.
