MacArtney announces the change of name of German MBT GmbH, Meerestechnisches Büro Turla, into MacArtney Germany GmbH as of January 1, 2018.

Corporate-wise, the name change places MacArtney in a stronger position with regard to ensuring the adequate and optimal Group appearance in as many markets as possible.

Since 2000, MBT GmbH has been a joint venture of the MacArtney Group but time has come to consolidate even more intensely the MacArtney brand in the German market. The name change will vouch for the seriousness and professionalism so far demonstrated and in future to be even clearlier exposed by the German MacArtney staff to both existing and prospective German customers by virtue of the particular spirit and customer oriented management represented by means of the MacArtney image.

Operating sales and consultancy offices for marine and underwater technology based in Kiel and Bremen, MacArtney Germany focuses on sales and service of oceanographic, geophysical and hydrographic measuring instruments and systems. Thus, MacArtney Germany is a competent partner when it comes to special tasks in the deep sea, in the coastal area and estuaries as well as in watercourses and lakes.
