Endeavor Management announces that the Decom JIP Phase II is now offered as part of the newly restructured and expanded DeepStar program.
The proposed Decom JIP program will be presented at an industry meeting hosted by DeepStar in the first half of September and will be held at the Offshore Operators Committee offices in Houston, with on-line participation available.
DeepStar is now part of the Offshore Operators Committee and now allows open industry participation in selected JIPs, designated as Satellite Projects, without the requirement for annual membership. Endeavor’s Decom JIP Phase II falls into the Satellite project category. Chevron is the DeepStar Champion for Decom JIP Phase II and BHP has also indicated their interest in joining.
If the proposal becomes a Satellite Project as expected, costs should be lower than in the attached proposal and will depend on the actual tasks selected by the participating companies and the number of funding participants.
