Apache Corporation and Total S.A. have announced a major oil discovery at the Kwaskwasi-1 well drilled offshore Suriname in Block 58. The well was drilled using the Noble Sam Croft with Apache as operator holding a 50% working interest and Total holding a 50% working interest.

TDI-Brooks recently completed two (2) EPOS projects in Mexico for TOTAL in Blk. 2 (Perdido) and Capricorn Energy Mexico (CAIRN) in Blk. 9 (Sureste Basin). The Blk. 2 EPOS program was in deep-water (~3,300 m) offshore northern Mexico, while the CAIRN project was a shallow water project. These were the first EPOS programs completed in this COVID work environment.

In the Norwegian North Sea, Sleipnir successfully removed the 8100 mT Jotun-B jacket for client Vår Energi. The platform was installed in 1998 by Heerema's Thialf, who returned to the Jotun Field last year to remove the topsides and conductors - demonstrating the circularity of Heerema's involvement in the lifecycle of these now retiring platforms.

Maersk Drilling has secured an additional one-well contract from Aker BP, acting as operator of the Tambar license, for the low-emission jack-up rig Maersk Integrator. In direct continuation of its current work scope, the rig will move to the Tambar field offshore Norway to drill the K-2B development well, with work expected to commence in February 2021.
