Eco Wave Power is pleased to announce that Capitania do Porto do Douro (Port Authority of the Douro), in Portugal, has provided an approval for the installation of a Spotter Buoy in proximity to Barra do Douro breakwater, with the purpose of collecting wave data for Eco Wave Power’s planned wave energy project in the region.

The project teams of Jan De Nul and Hitachi now proceed with the termination and commissioning process of the complete offshore wind farm.
bp has agreed to join Statkraft and Aker Offshore Wind in a consortium bidding to develop offshore wind energy in Norway. The partnership – in which bp, Statkraft and Aker Offshore Wind will each hold a 33.3% share – will pursue a bid to develop offshore wind power in the Sørlige Nordsjø II (SN2) license area.
