Global Offshore, a leading provider of cable installation, repair and trenching services to the offshore renewables, utilities and oil & gas markets, and part of the Global Marine Group, has completed their cable installation campaign at Vattenfall’s Danish Kriegers Flak Offshore Wind Farm.

Marlink Group, backed by Apax Partners sas, has obtained final regulatory approvals to acquire 100% of ITC Global from Panasonic. The Marlink and ITC Global management teams are preparing for a swift closing of the transaction in the coming weeks, while remaining fully focused on providing best-in-class services to their customers across the world.



Kongsberg Digital has signed a contract with the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) to upgrade and extend the K-Sim Navigation simulators based in SIDMAR; the Center for Simulation, Research and Maritime Development of the Panama Canal Authority. Equipped with the new technology, the Panama City-based center will be able to include multiple vessels in training scenarios and extend the realism of the simulator training provided for pilots and tug masters.

VARD, one of the world’s major designers and shipbuilders of specialized vessels, has secured contracts for the design and construction of three Service Operation Vessels (SOVs) for North Star Renewables in Scotland. The state-of-the-art hybrid trio will operate on the Dogger Bank Wind Farm in the North Sea.

Ampelmann, the Dutch offshore access provider, has secured five contracts covering eight projects in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, five of which are in the renewables space. All contracts were signed in Q1 of 2021 and consist of operations in different offshore segments and in several countries, with various Ampelmann systems to be used.   

Marine Advanced Robotics has delivered a WAM-V 16 ASV to NIWC Pacific to support multi-domain unmanned maritime system autonomy. The WAM-V technology is particularly well suited for subsurface, surface and air sensor deployments in real world ocean conditions where asset recovery is critical in less-than-ideal conditions.
