We also have guest speakers presenting on two exciting projects:

Fugro will talk about their involvement in Seabed 2030 a collaborative project, launched at the United Nations Ocean Conference in 2017 which aims to bring together all available data to map the world ocean’s seafloor. This project supports sustainable use of the oceans, seas and marine resources and also highlights underwater geo-hazards, cable and pipeline routing, mineral extraction, oil and gas exploration and development, infrastructure construction and maintenance.

Heerema Marine Contractors will present on their proof of concept for the “Quad Lift”, successfully performed offshore heavy lifting operations in the Gulf of Mexico involving two different vessels, two dynamic positioning systems and four cranes - all working together for a single lift operation.
