Phoenix Opens Office at Stennis Space Center

Phoenix International Holdings, Inc. (Phoenix) has opened a satellite office at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.

PhoenixLogoStennis is a unique government facility located north of Bay St. Louis along the banks of the Pearl River. Back in the 1960’s the space center gained fame for testing the Saturn V rockets for the Apollo missions to the moon. Today, Stennis continues to support NASA and several other government organizations of interest to Phoenix. These include the Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVO), the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Center (CNMOC), the Naval Research Lab (NRL), and NOAA’s National Data Buoy Center.

Overseeing Phoenix’s new Stennis office is Mr. Ken Sharp. Ken has over 40 years of experience in subsea technology and offshore operations. He previously served as Department Director at NAVO and in this role helped develop the NAVO AUV program that is now tasked with conducting worldwide AUV operations for the US Navy.
