Fugro’s Board of Management has appointed Céline Gerson as Group Director for the Americas region. Céline will join Fugro on 6 December and will take responsibility for the region as from January 1, 2022.

With over 25 years’ experience, Céline has a proven record of successfully growing complex technical businesses across various industries. In her most recent role, Céline served as Vice President, Global Account Director for Schlumberger, Ltd., where she formulated global strategy and alignment with a key strategic client. She was particularly focused on energy transition, sustainability, and digital transformation. Prior to that, she was President of Schlumberger Canada. In this role, she directed operations and steered strategic positioning and profitable growth of all product lines in the region.

Along with being a Harvard Business School Alumna, Céline holds a Bachelor’s degree from the European University of Brussels and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston.

Céline succeeds Edward Saade who will retire from Fugro following a tenure of over 23 years.
