Coretrax Appoints First Norway Country Manager

Coretrax, the global well integrity and production optimization leader, has reinforced its commitment to Norway with the appointment of Arthur Stautzenberger as its first Norway country manager to lead business growth in the region.

Based in Stavanger, Mr, Stautzenberger joins Coretrax from Halliburton where he most recently held the position of senior technical sales advisor – liner hangers. Prior to this he held several senior technical advisory and engineering-based roles at oilfield service companies in the US and Norway.

With over 20 years’ industry experience, he has a proven track record of devising and implementing technology development and leading operations teams, with a particular focus on expandable technology. In his new position, he will be responsible for driving business growth in the region with a key emphasis on Coretrax’s Core product line which encompasses expandable tubular systems.

Mr. Stautzenberger said: “Coretrax has a strong reputation across the global well integrity sector with its leading combination of advanced technology and skilled personnel. The business has a deep understanding of the market and its customers’ demands so I’m excited to be joining the company as it looks to increase its local presence in Norway and expand its service offering in the region.”

Last year, Coretrax deployed its first expandable liner, the ReLineDL, for a major operator in Norway where it successfully saved 14 days rig-time while reducing project logistics requirements. The system is a hydraulic expansion system which enables operators to isolate low pressure or thief zones which can be encountered while drilling, delivering increased performance and reliability.

John Fraser, chief executive officer of Coretrax said: “Arthur’s addition as Norway country manager is a significant milestone for Coretrax and demonstrates our commitment to increasing our foothold in the region. With his knowledge of the territory and vast experience in expandable technology, he will be a huge asset to our team as we look to strengthen our operations across the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

“As the industry remains focused on driving more sustainable and efficient operations, we are actively addressing operator challenges to deliver greater results from existing wells. We have experienced sustained business demand in Norway as customers continue to see the value in our technology portfolio, which can support the full well lifecycle from wellbore clean up through to plugging and abandonment. Arthur’s appointment will play a key role as we gear up for further growth in the next 12 months and I look forward to working closely with him.”

Coretrax currently employ more than 200 personnel across bases in UK, Norway, North America, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.
